finally, after very long three months of distant education, on March 21st 2022, SGH returns to on-site education.
We are very happy, that we will be able to meet you in the lecture halls and of course in Dean’s Office.
With the hope of reducing risk of infection and, above all, to enable people in isolation to participate in the classes, the LECTURES and ONLY LECTURES (in Polish “wykłady”) will be taught in hybrid form, that means, that they will still be available through the MS Teams app (the same way it was during the first four weeks of the semester).
Other classes (e.g. computer labs, seminars, workshops, sport classes etc.) in which attendance is obligatory (according to the Study Rules and Regulations) will be taught ONLY on university premises.
There are two exceptions to this rule.
Full-time students who, due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, will not be able to cross the border of the Republic of Poland.
Exchange students who are not able to arrive to Poland due to pandemic restrictions.
Both of those groups may ask the teacher to allow them to participate in classes via distant learning from March 21st.
Please note that you need to inform the teacher that due to above reasons you are not able to attend classes in person.
People in quarantine or isolation may temporarily participate in distance learning in compulsory classes, upon presentation of an appropriate certificate, and prior consent of the lecturer.
Details of the functioning of the university in the coming months are specified in the Rector’s Order.
We would like to remind you that the summer examination session will be held exclusively on-site at the university premises.
