 IMPORTANT INFORMATION

 
​1. A failure to submit a paper version of the scholarship application denotes lack of scholarship application! (except cases of sending the application via the ePUAP electronic platform)

2. The Rector scholarship for the 2021/22 academic year is awarded on the basis of outstanding academic results and achievements obtained in the last academic year, i. e. exclusively in the 2020/21 academic year (excluding students admitted to the first year of bachelor’s studies in the year of taking the matriculation examination who are national sports medalist, or laureates & finalists of the Olimpiada Poland’s national school contest.

3. While completing a scholarship application for outstanding academic results (with a high GPA) in the USOSweb system, the scholarship average will appear in the application (does not apply to students who completed their first year of MA studies in other Higher Education Institution (HEI) than SGH and individuals whose grades received at another HEI have been transferred). The average displayed in the application is the scholarship average which is not student's grade average (GPA) from their account in the Virtual Dean’s Office platform.

4. The Rector scholarship is awarded ONLY upon student’s request. It relates to the period of one academic year.

5. A student loses the entitlement to the Rector scholarship on the last day of the month in which they changed the field of study where the scholarship was awarded.

6. The Rector scholarship CANNOT be awarded to, inter alia:

- a student with a master’s degree or an equivalent degree (regardless of the fact when and at what university the degree was obtained, it is applicable to foreign universities as well).

- a student who is a major graduate in a first-cycle studies (including foreign universities) and applies for a scholarship at another major in the first-cycle studies.

- if the period of 6 years, referred to in art. 93 item 2 point 1) of the Act – Law on Higher Education and Science, has elapsed.

- a student who repeats a semester

- a student who resumed studies after being removed from the list of students because of the lack of progress or a failure to complete a semester or a year of studies

- a student who failed to be enrolled in the next semester of study (does not apply to students on a dean’s leave)

- a student returning from a dean’s leave lasting the entire previous academic year, unless they took exams in all courses being part of the obligatory curriculum for the year of studies the student was on leave and completed that year of studies.

- a student, who received a conditional pass for a semester in the academic year that is taken into consideration for the scholarship.
