Welcome to the Polish-German Academic Forum at SGH
The Polish-German Academic Forum organizes and coordinates for more than 20 years the German-speaking studying program at SGH at the bachelor level “Management of German-Polish economic relations” (Management der deutsch-polnischen Wirtschaftsaktivitäten). It is carried out in close cooperation with two German universities – the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and the University Duisburg-Essen – and supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
The DAAD offers special scholarships for students participating in the program for German language courses, study visits for one semester and stays for PhD students at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
Most lectures are held by German native-speaking professors with long-term teaching experience in the field of economics and business administration. Close ties to firms and institutions operating in both countries provide opportunities for workshops, internships and other practical experiences.
An active alumni association of graduates of the Polish-German Academic Forum regularly organizes meetings and events that foster networking for alumni and the exchange of information between the university and the business community.
More details and information on the German-speaking studying program and other activities of the Polish-German Academic Forum can be found on the website of the Forum.
