Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) is authorised to grant Ph.D. degree in economics and management and marketing. Doctoral studies are organized and run by Collegia on a full-time and extramural (part-time) basis.
Each applicant has two ways of commencing his doctoral studies at SGH to choose from: Enrolling for full-time or extramural studies, which are conducted by adequate Collegium. Most lectures are given in Polish, therefore applicants are required to have competence in written and spoken Polish.
Doctorate students are granted all student rights.

Full-time programmes are free of charge for Polish and EU students, whereas all extramural students pay a tuition fee.
Fees should be transferred to SGH’s bank account upon the applicants
have received a confirmation of admission. Foreign citizens with Polish
background can apply for 30% reduction of the fees.
