The courses are offered at all levels from A1 to C2 (we invite you to
familiarize yourself with the Common European Framework of Reference for
Languages – level of language competence).
Participation
in language courses offered by
the Foreign Language Centre will help you develop four basic
language skills (reading, listening, speaking, and writing) thanks to the
application of diversified forms and methods of teaching. The aim of the
courses offered is to train in the skills of the correct usage of lexis in
general and business language registers (including selected grammar issues) and
the development of the so-called intercultural competence, i.e. the ability to
communicate effectively and appropriately with people of other cultures whose
languages we study.
Classes are held
twice a week for 90 minutes in the afternoon and in the evening or once a week.
Classes are held
throughout the whole semester (40 or 30 hours). The cost of a 40-hour course is
PLN 640 / semester, and a 30-hour course – PLN 480 / semester.
