ABOUT THE SGH
MENTORING PROGRAM
The SGH
Mentoring Program is an initiative aimed at integrating SGH alumni (mentors), who
achieved professional success reflected by their high rank and authority in
their work environment, with talented students (mentees), who want to benefit
from support in shaping their careers based on the alumni’s experiences. The
idea behind the program is to build relations between mentees and mentors, as
well as to create an alumni–student community. The program is part of the
university’s talent development efforts. Currently, the program is available
only in Polish.
The 4th
edition of the SGH Mentoring Program is in progress and will end in June 2021.
STRUCTURE
OF THE PROGRAM
In the
course of several months of the program, students (mentees) will have 5 one-on-one
meetings – mentoring sessions – with SGH alumni (mentors). The meetings are an
opportunity to receive direct support, as well as to exchange of knowledge,
views and experiences. Time and formula of the meetings are always tailored to
the needs of the participants. The program also includes trainings and thematic
workshops for mentors, as well as meetings of the mentors and the mentees. In addition,
at the start and at the conclusion of the program, a joint meeting will be
organized for all participants.
