We are pleased to present the third edition of the Career Handbook (Poradnik Kariery) – first one available also in English. As every year, we have included a number of practical information and tips to help you actively, consciously and boldly shape your career.
We have constructed this guide in such a way that both those who taking the first steps on the labour market and those with more experience can find content that will support, inspire and help them gain momentum on their career path.
The theme of this year’s edition is change. We write about it in the context of volunteering and mentoring, which very often changes the current way of thinking and perceiving reality. We mention changes related to the implementation of AI and ML in an increasing number of areas of our lives. Finally, we are approaching changes that are taking place in people, the world and the economy if we are able to draw on the potential of diversity.
In the Handbook, you will also find profiles of several graduates of our university whose career paths have led them beyond the borders of Poland. As you will see from their stories, the successes they have achieved largely come from courage combined with readiness and openness to broadly comprehend changes.
The Career Handbook 2019/2020 is a part of ‘SGH Alumni Leaders – Distinguished Stories, Award-worthy People’ project financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange.
